Bio: Chris Rallo

Chris grew up near Detroit with a gearhead father, a booksmart mother, a passion for cars, a curiosity for the way things work and the dream to become an auto racing driver. This lead him to heavily study while excelling in Math, Science and Automotive Technology, later attending an FAA approved “A&P” program at the Michigan Institute of Aviation and Technology. Following this, Chris worked in Automotive Testing for a year while looking for the right opportunity in Auto Racing. This opportunity presented itself in the form of the Skip Barber Racing School and allowed Chris to hone his skills as a mechanic while learning to race and teach racing in the best possible environment leading to wins, pole positions and a “Rookie of the Race” award. 

Having earned his stripes Chris moved on, becoming the Service Manager of a motorcycle dealer and successfully racing a variety of cars with the SCCA while becoming a track day and “ride and drive” instructor. When he felt the time was right, Chris walked away from his “real job”, started his own business and went back to the track full time providing car prep, track support and coaching to track day and racing drivers. He also became involved as a crew member in many segments of professional sportscar racing to network and build his skill. In the following few years, while competing in time trial and sprint racing with the SCCA, IMG and NASA, Chris has collected many race wins, pole positions and track records. 

Often described as a natural, Chris has built a strong reputation as good racing coach, in and out of the car and is known for being able to drive any car well and fast, in addition to setting it up well so that others can do the same. In the last couple years, while accumulating several thousand laps of race driving of his own, he has worked with several endurance racing teams, improving their performance from stem to stern and helping them collect many trophies, even a Series Championship, all while having an enjoyable experience. Chris has worked for and learned from his success every step of the way and plans to continue his rise in Motorsports while elevating and supporting those around him along the way.
